A New & Innovative Way to Feed Raw or Cooked

Tucker's is proud to offer to pet specialty retail a radical NEW raw frozen cat food!
Made from ingredients cats can get stoked about, Rad Cat is responsibly-sourced meat-based diets for cats. Our raw frozen diets are 95% meat and organ with 5% miscanthus grass, whole egg including shell, brewer’s yeast, menhaden oil, and vitamins and minerals. Rad Cat diets are Complete & Balanced and formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages including kittens.
“As many companies look at expansions away from the freezer, we are doubling down on our core values and continuing to innovate in the frozen category,” said Founder Jeff Kalish. “We wanted to bring something truly unique and different to raw frozen cat food, while using a versatile feeding method never before seen in the pet industry.”
Although designed with all the safety steps to be fed raw, consumers have the option of fully cooking or just warming this innovative line. Rad Cat is the first ever raw pet food that can be fed raw or warmed up/gently cooked (sous vide) by the consumer at home with almost no nutritional loss. Because end users are cooking at home, they pay raw food prices. On average, Rad Cat will be $3 per pound cheaper than other gently cooked products.
So, now cats have both a warm and cold option. Rad Cat also has the textures covered, too. All five of the proteins come in a chunky grind or a smooth pâté. The chunky grind will feature larger pieces of organ in the formula to provide added texture for cats who prefer that.
Rad Cat will launch with five delicious formulas (Beef, Chicken, Pork, Salmon & Beef, and Chicken & Tuna) in two tantalizing textures (Chunky Grind and Smooth Pâté)
Each peel and serve bar is approximately six ounces and will retail between $4.69 and $4.99. One bar can feed a 10lb cat for two days. So, $2.50/day to feed your cat. Each 7.5-pound sleeve contains 20 bars and retails for around $93.79.
Tucker’s acquired the trademark for Rad Cat. We did not acquire the former company or formulas; however, we did take inspiration from them. We recognized that cat customers want a brand of their own. The brand Rad Cat was a leader in the raw cat food category, and the name still holds a special place for many raw feeders today. Our Rad Cat is a modernized formula for cats that follows our 95/5 carnivore nutritional philosophy, while introducing new innovative ways to feed raw or gently cooked.
